The One Thing That Made A Difference

I wanted to write this post to share something I've been learning and practicing with you. 

Some time ago I got tired of making sure everyone else was happy with the way I was living MY life.

Trying to please everyone gets exhausting after a while. And from what I have seen, every woman goes through this.

I had the opportunity to begin some deep soul work through a divine feminine program in 2020 - and I went for it.

It was a 6-month program where I began to learn to create alignment and coherence in my whole self and I learned how to bring myself back to life.

Even though it was a roller coaster of a ride, I ultimately learned NEVER TO ABANDON MYSELF. I now have my own back more than anyone else! 

I realized that there’s this ONE thing that made such a big difference for me when it comes to feeling content and powerful in life, my opinion of and love for ME is the most important thing. 

I was subconsciously hating parts of myself and making myself wrong for who I am. I was trying to fit the mold that my parents, society, etc had invited me into and it was no longer serving e. 

Here are some of the ways you can cultivate love for yourself:

1. Spend some time daily looking at yourself in the mirror and say “I love you. I see you. I’ve got you”
2. Notice the way you speak to yourself. If you are constantly tearing yourself down ask yourself “would I ever speak to someone I love like this?” and then choose a new thought. 
3. Interview 5 people in your life about why they love you. Sometimes it takes someone else reflecting back on our own magnificence to begin to believe that it’s true.
